Computing & Engineering Community Manager bot

This Discord bot serves all the moderation and authentication needs of the CEC Discord server.

It features an email verification system (restricted to a domain), role management, and some basic moderation. There's a project board here: https://git.gay/LBU-CEC/manager-bot/projects/32

Running

Make sure you copy config.example.toml to config.toml and edit the values accordingly. If you want the most up-to-date configuration, check what the model in dataclasses.py expects.

You can then run with docker:

services:
  bot:
    image: git.gay/lbu-cec/manager-bot:v2
    restart: unless-stopped
    volumes:
      - ./config.toml:/app/config.toml:ro
      - ./data:/data:rw  # you need this for persistent data

If you want to run without docker, you need to install the dependencies with pip install -r requirements.txt and then in src/ run python -m ces_bot.
